If you wish to apply for a place in our nursery for your child, then please download the application form below. Once downloaded, please complete the application form and return it to school@sedgefieldhardwick.co.uk or the school office, along with a copy of your child’s birth certificate. What Happens Next?
⁃ A member of the office team will acknowledge receipt of the nursery application.
⁃ The term before, or very early in the term of your child’s third birthday, a member of the nursery team will contact you to arrange induction sessions for your child.
Please note:
⁃ Submitting an application form does not guarantee your child a place in our nursery. Occasionally, we are unable to admit a child or meet a family’s requirements because of a lack of available sessions. This is rare but when it does happen, the family are offered priority of sessions the next academic year, should their child have another academic year in nursery before beginning school.
⁃ If your child attends our nursery, they are not automatically guaranteed a place at Sedgefield Hardwick Primary Academy. Durham Local Authority manage the school admissions and we have adopted their admission criteria. Please click here to view the Local Authority’s admission criteria for school places.
