School Teams

Our policy is primarily based on acknowledging, praising and reinforcing good behaviour, with appropriate and positive systems of reward.

This is ‘backed up’ through various initiatives including Team points, Pupil of the Week certificates and a weekly Achievement Assembly. When children join the school they are randomly allocated to a Team:

School teams

  • Oak
  • Chestnut 
  • Sycamore
  • Elm

At the end of every week, in the Go For It Assembly, the team with the most team points will be awarded the Team Trophy. The team who win the trophy the most times in each term are awarded a treat for their excellent efforts.
